- MONTHLY MEETING, , ' ( A meeting of'the Land Board was held at the District Land and Survey Office, Wellington, yesterday. Present: Mr. James Mackonzib (Conimissioner of. Crown Lands),, in tho chair,' and Messrs.. J.- Dawson, arid-H.".T. .Ellingham; Mrs. Longfellow, wifo of -the 'lessee- of dwelling 18, Block VIII, Heretaunga Settlement, nttendod, and asked to bo allowed to shift into a dwelling on Section 10, Block IL—Approved on condition that the lease of Section 10 is signed immediately it is presented. . Proposed transfer from Mr. T. E. Petherick, of Section 38, Niroaha, V.S., 49 acres 2 roods 2 perclips, to Mr. Charles Hall.—Recommouded.' A report was received from tho Crown Lands ranger on the proposed transfer of Section 14, Block 111, llautapu,. Ohutu, improved farm, 87 acres 2 roods, from Mr. •]?. W. Becchey to Mrs. S. A. Ford.—lt was resolved to postppno the matter till next meeting for further inquiry. A report was received from tho Crown Lands ranger on an application by Mr. William Nation to transfer Section 37, Blocks XI and XV, Mangaone, 200. acres, to Mrs. M. C. Percy, whose husband. holds 200' acres adjoining.—lt was resolved to , recommend the transfer for. favourable consideration. . . ' Tho transfer of Section 25, Block IV, Umutoi, 150 acres, from Mr. A. Sanson to Mr. Reinholdt Schmidt, jun., was approved. Mr. J. Schonen applied to transfer his interest in Section.s-1, Block VIII, Belmont, Normandale Settlement, 50 acres 1 rood 34 perches, to his co-lessees, Messrs. A. Nohl and M. Jensen, on account of his wife's medical-adviser in Australia having forbidden her to return, to Now Zealand.—Recommended. Mr. N.
