Sovcral. suggestions have been made, • viz., that Mr. Hill s beautiful Maori •cantata "Hinemoaj'! or the ode-he. wrote".;for tno opening of tho. New Zealand 'exhibition should bo sung,' Both aro works of■ distinct merit that abound in dolightful choral effects, and it is [ quite possiblo that numbers from ''A '■•'■• Moorish Maid," "Tripu," and some of his songs, such as "When I Am Dead," and tho "Waiata Poi," will find a place in tho vocal part; whilst thoro is.plenty of; Mr. Hill's instrumental compositions to make .up '» splendid programme.
