Sir Iloraco Tozer, Agent-General for Queensland, has suggested that the Imperial Government should co-operate with Queensland in establishing a depot at London docks for tho inspection of emigrants, some of whom might possibly bo aliens.' Tho Earl of Crcwo (Colonial Secretary) replied that ho was unablo to agroo to tho proposal, as it would involve a departure from tho Emigrants' Information Office's policy which was limited to giving information.
