i 1 A PRESENTATION. A successful concert was given at tho Y.M.C.A. li\bt niglit.Mindei' the auspices of tho Ladies' Auxiliuiy Committee. Tho audience wax a large one, mul, it was evidoui, thoroughly enjoyed the piogrammo priscntod. Songs wore given by Mr. Pliir/ps, Miss N. Brittain, Mr. Biyaut, Miss Cliufc, and recitntiono by Mi's 1 ? . Dix, Hits J?. Cootee, and Mr. Cany- i Miss L. Andoison contributed a violin solo, a 'cello solo was gnon by Mr. MTtirhuo. and a duet given by Miss G. Brittain and Mr. A. Jnntke was very much appreciated. A veiv amusing little comedy, entitled "Up-to-date, 1 ' was played by Misses 1\ Di\, G. Brittain, A. Kendall, N, ltait, and B. Biittain. At the conclusion of the conceit several presentations were mado to Mr. Drew, who.,lias for the months noted as assistant secretary of the Y.M.C.A., and who is leaving for New York, where lie is to receive (.raining for the work of such an institution.
