The French Ambassador has been informed accordingly. In tho case mentioned in the above cablecram, the. proprietor of a small restaurant at A on- Cross was fined 205., with costs one shilling, for selling Australian, wine as "Burgundy." The wholesale firm who supplied him admitted that the bottles wero' labelled in error.
