At the Basin Reserve last Saturday an eleven representing Bing, Harris and Co.", Ltd., defeated one representing Snrgood, Son and Ewen Ltd., by an innings and G9 runs. Bing, Harris and C 0.,. batting first, compiled 124 runs (Patrick 38, Murphy 33, Carrnthers 'IS, Muthewsori 11). Evans nnd Whittaker shared the bowling honours. Sargood, Sou were all disposed of in the first innings by Carruther's,. and Stephenson for 22 runs, and in Hie f o j] o «- on made 33 runs (Whittaker 12, Galloway 111 O'Sullivan, Gosling, and Murphy divided-the wickets. .
