fSrEcuLLt Written for The Dominion.] : WEDNESDAY. p ea-Soup.- Dresden Pntties. Potatoes. Cabbage. Junquet. Stewed Apples. DRESDEN PATTIES.' Six oz. cold meat, 2oz. cooked ham, 1 gill of stock, thick slices of stale bread,. 1 or .2 mushrooms, 1 dessertspoonful of'flour, 1 dessertspoonful of butter. ' • Mince the meat, ham, and mushrooms very finely, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the mushrooms;, and' fry them well. Then add thefiouiyand then-the stock. Stir until it boils, and boil for 3 minutes. Add the meat and .seasoning, and keep the mixture hot until wanted. Cut slices of bread about 2 inches thick into rounds about 2 inches in diameter Remove the centre of each round by cutting with a smaller cutter half through. Dip the rounds in milk, brush them over witl l eg when drained, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs Fry in hot fat, drain, and fill with the meat mixture.' FOR TO-MORROW. Five 0r,61b. of pork for roasting, sage and onions, apples, .ilb. suet, figs.
