Thousands of visitors to Naples welcomed ex-President Roosevelt on his arrival, en route to Africa. The German Cousul-Goncral presented; to Mr. Roosevelt a letter in which the Kaiser said ho hoped to see him in Berlin on his return from Africa. A bouquet of black, white, and red carnations accompanied tlio letter. Mr. Roosevelt asked the German' ConsulGeneral to present his respects to the Emperor, and to say that certainly he (Mr. Roosevelt) would visit Berlin and tell his Majesty all about his experiences in Africa. Mr. Roosevelt receivqd'_.f_rpni .England hundred's of telegrams and letters.
