I have always felt a particular desire to see New Zealand, not only because of the natural beauty of £ho islands, but because, like alj men interested in soand industrial problems, I am very desirous of looking into tho way in which you in New Zealand havo faced tho question of their solution. With renewed and most hearty thanks, believo me, Sincerely yours, / .THEODORE ROOSEVELT. To Sir Joseph George Ward, Prims Minister, Wellington. Now Zealand.
