Although this Dominion, of New Zealand is n comparatively small place, it is astonishing how little is known by the public generally of many of its most interesting parts. As to Bay of l'lenty, for instance, how few pcoplo are aware that it is three limes as large as (he great Ilawko's Hay and Poverty Bay both put together, and few know (hat it is a tact that oranges and lemons grow there with the minimum of trouble and superior in quality to tlioso imported. It will doubtless surprise some to know that whereas fruit-growing land near Hastings roadily sells for ,£IOO per acre, you can buy land more suitablo near Taurauga for .£lO to ,£ls per acre, or for even less, 'faranaki has becomo famous as a dairying centre, and fortunes havo been made there and aro being mado from tho product of the coiys, yet Tauranga has far 'moro favourable conditions with cheaper land and a moro favoured clime. On page 16 Air. Geo. M. Yertx, now of Tauranga, but formerly of Wellington, draws attention to a splendid property ho has for sale. . .
