SAVAGE CLUB.
Professor Easterfield presided at tho annual meeting of tho Wellington Savago Club held at the Grand Hotel last Evening. The annual report and balance-sheet wero passed. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:— President (chief savage), Mr. T. M, Wilford; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. J. Collins, W. Leslie, Geo. Toogood, and W. A. Kennedy; committee, Messrs, A. A. Corrigan, w. M'Bcth, A. W. Newton, J. F. Carr, Killick, F. Wilson, W. 11. Watts, and P. Levi; sccrotary, Mr. J; Dykes; musical director, Mr. D. A. Kenny. A recommendation was made to tho incoming • committee to consider the matter of acquiring permanent premises for the club.
