NAVY LEAGUE.

The committeo of tho Wellington branch of the Navy Leaguo held its monthly meeting yesterday, Mr. J. ]3. Harcourt presiding. Other monibers present wero:—Messrs. Le Grovo, Laing-Meason, J. M. . Richmond, Captain Jones, and Mr. C. W. Palmer (secretary).

It was pointed out that this method of training was gaining popular support at Homo, being quito as efficient as the training-ship method and loss expensive. reported that New Plymouth and Isapior wero working very actively in Loaguo matters, and wero arranging for public meetings 011 a large scale. It was decided to put in foroo a now regulation permitting boys wlio have left school to loinaiu members of the school branoh of the Navy League up to tho age of 17 years. It was reported that negotiations with tho Education Department for introducing Navv Lrtsiguo maps and books into public schools vere proceeding satisfactorily.
