A RISE IN DUNEDIN. (11l ASSOCIATION,} _ . ' , Dunodln, April 2. Owing to tlio' continued high price of flour, tho cash price of bread for tho 41b. loaf will be raised to 7d. from Monday next. T&E POSITION IN WELLINGTON. ' In reforenco to the telegram from Dunedin announcing a riso in tho prieo of broad, Mr. \V. A. kcllow, chairman of the Wellington Master Bakers' Union, told a reporter that tor the past twelve months tho Dunedin bakers had been cutting against one another, and now they were returning to tho normal lc ?\'r !y. ls lc same as that obtaining st Wellington. Tho price of flour is £10 10s., f.0.b., but with freight, wharfage, etc., it becomes £11 2s. 6d. Mr. Kelloiv said it pas not likely to becomo cheaper owing to tho high prices ruling for wheat at Homo and in America, and Australia. Things were unsettled just now m the flour market. In reply to a question, ho said ho did not think the price ot bread would have to bo raised li' iu c '°pended on tho price of flour. At tho present time, thero seemed no likolihoou ot bread going up.
