Tho Duma has been asked to vote £51,400,000 for the army, nu increase of £4,400,000. Tho announcement was received with cheers. It is announced that the Russian Slav socities will shortly meet to discuss how to combat the menace of Germanism. THE SERVIAN PRESS SUBMISSIVE. GRATEFUL TO BRITAIN. Belgrade, April 1. The tono of the Sorvian press is unexpectedly pacific. Tho papers aro full of gratitudo to Britain (whose diplomacy arranged the terns of tho Note which AustriaHungary accepted), and reproach Russia for encouraging a false policy and then, abandoning Servia at a critical moment.
