A Press Association message from Dunodin states that Mr. M'Phorson, president, and Mr. Poter Parr, secretary, will represent tho Dunodin Chamber at tho Chambers of Commerce Conference in. Wellington, at Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Frank White, of Pahiatua, •and Mr. F. J. Slaunsell, of Masterton, are to leave Wellington on Thursday next to connect with the mail-boat at Sydney foi London. . Mr, Alfred Hill, the talented composer and musician, is still very seriously ill. Ho underwent a surgical operation some threo months ago, and whatever recovory he has mado has been very slow.
