In reply to a question asked in tho Houso of Commons by Major Anstruther-Gray (Unionist), tho Under-Secretary for the Colonies, Lieut.-Col. Seely, stated that ho had received no report of an attempt by natives to haul down the British flag in tho Cook Islands. The New Zealand Government had, ho added, ample power to deal with disturbances.
