MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT.

(BY TELECEArH—PKESS ASSOCIATION.) Chrlstchuroh, October 22. A case arising out of an accident to a gig caused by the norse shying at a motor car was heard by Mr. 11. W. Bishop, S.M., today, when Geoffrey Edward Royds claimed £34 damages from Thomas Yuille Wardrop, driver of the motor car. In giving judgment, ; tho Magistrate said ho had 110 doubt the accident was caused by tho negligcnco of tho defendant Wardrop. He was not going to say everything lie thought about motor drivers and their ways in Cliristclmrch. Probably tho public would be forced into tho position of doing more to regulate the traffic than at present, but tho existing condition of affairs was bad enough. The defendant in this case had.shown a lack of consideration and disregard for tho rights of others. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for £28 and costs
