FOOTBALL.

NEW ZEALAND HUGBY UNION. A mooting of the management committee of the New Zealand Hugby Union was held last evening. There-wero present: Messrs. G. H. Dixon 'Jn the chair), H. M. Isaacs, Wallburton, J. Laughton, 11. Kelly, N. Galbraith, and J. D. Avery, secretary. The names of plavors reported by various unions as having talcou part in professional matches were submitted to the committee. It was decided that all players reported as playing the professional game be declared professionals and he expelled from the union. A number of matters in connection with the recent Anglo-Welsh tour wero dealt, with and brought up to date with a view to a definite settlement of accounts. A letter was received from the Now South Wains Union suggesting terms for the interchange of visits. After some discussion it was decided to refer the matter to a .subcommittee with instructions to report at an early date.
