The private interment of the' remains 'of the late .Hon. H. Foldwick V.D., M.L.C., took place at tho Karori Cemetery yesterday morning. News lias been received at Wanganui of the deatli of Mr. Houlton Forlong, for fourteen years connected with missionary work at tho New Hebrides. Tho decoased. was connected with no particular denomination, but organised and managed his own charges. Mr: Forlong met his death, as the result of an explosion on: an>fail launch, on July 18.
