Miss Kathleen Beauchamp is leaving tomorrow for L'yttelton on her way to England by the Papanui, and yesterday afternoon sho and her sister, Miss C. Beauchamp,, entertained a number of their girl friends at a farewell tea. Tea was laid in the 'diningroom,.' where.the. table was decorated with spring flowers , and Violets, and after tea the guests adjourned to another room for music., Here quite a concert was given by -many of the girls, among those, who sang being Misses ■C.
