Sir, —I notice in your issue of yesterday a list bf-.works;-proposed to bo undertaken ':,by ;tHe,(City/';'QQ,iihcil, particularly tram estensions to Widestown, Kilbirnie, and Itoseneatlij otc. But" the iiost important and tho niost needed is left out of the list, viz., botw'ecn Brooklyn, via Vogeltown to Island Bay line. This much-needed line is carefully overlooked. I supnoso because the long-- ' suffering . people »ol»>Vogeltown do not worry the Council „by. - letters and deputations. ■ ( That this lino would pay, handsomely is be!^ybnd line to Island |Bay was hung hp for two years because the City Council thought it would not pay to make it.- After it was made. it proved' the bestjpaying lin'e'thejv'ha'd got, and the same will ■ be'.- tho'.- casor wjth tho Brooklyn-Vogeltown , ' lino.—l ■ am,' etc.', <v \ VOGELTOWN. ■ May. 22. •: ..
