The cricket match, Mangatainoka_ r. Pabiatua, played on tho Pahiatua Recreation Ground; .was "won by Pabiatua with 15 runs to spare, the scoro being 77 to 62—Britland 26, R. Welsh 9, Bottomley (retired) 7, scoring most for Mangatainoka, and Pearccy. 16, ■Ashcroft 14,, and Webb 17, for Pahiatua. 'Wallis, for Pahiatua, took seven wickets for 27 runs. Tho Mangatainoka bowling was fairly divided, Davin and Chat win doing most of tho execution.
