There are numerous river, flats suitable for pastoral purposes, and until within • a few miles of Mount Aspiring the grade is that of a good'carriage'road. ;Native birds arai numerous in the natural' sanctuary.;, : Tho doctor was :favoured ; with glorious weather, and had a most enjoyable excursion;
