Stronach Morris and Go’s report — Eat Cattle.—There was a large yarding of fat cattle forward for Thursday's sale, 380 being penned. Cows and heifers were more strongly represented than a week ago. The sale throughout was quite a good one, the market for best grades of both Ox and Heifers being on a par to a shade easier, while medium sorts showed a drop of 15s to £ 1 per head as compared with last week’s rates. Extra prime heavy bullocks to ,£23 17s 6d, prime from £l7 7s 6d to £,'l9 2s 6d, medium £l2 17s 6d to 17s Gil, light from £io- Extra prune heavy cows and heifers to ,£l4 2s Gd, medium £ Bi*s to ,£lO 2s Od, light from £(y 12s 6d.

Fat Sheep.—There Avas a fairly large entry of fat sheep, 1873 being penned. The market for prime heavy wethers showed an easing of is 6d per head while prime heavy ewes can be quoted on a par Avith last sale’s rates. Aledium avethers showed a droy of 2s 6d per head, competition in this class being restricted to graziers. Aledium and light eAves Avere selling on a par with last week's average rates. Extra prime heavy wethers to 545, prime 43s 6d to 465, medium from 35s to 375, light from 275, prime heavy ewes to 42s 6d, prime y&Z to 38s, medium from 30s to 335, light from 225. Fat Pigs.—There Avas a small entry and tiiese met Avith very keen competition, prices being firmer by fully 5,s per head on last sale's rates. Store Pigs.—There Avas a fair entry and these met Avith keen competition, prices being on a par Avith late ruling rates.

AA'heat—There is very little milling wheat offering and millers will take any lines suitable at full schedule rate. Good whole fowl wheat meets with keen enquiry at up to 5s qd ex store. Dunedin.

Potatoes.—Very few consignments arc coming forward and there is 0 strong inquiry for prime linefc of tables. King Edwards are bringing up to ,£ll and Arran Chiefs £(j los ox store, Dunedin.

Chaff —There is u fair quantity offering and good bright oaten sheaf is bringing up to £.'s 10s ex truck, Dunedin. Inferior quality is difficult to quit. Sheepskins*.—Wo held our usual fortnightly Sheepskin Sale on Tuesday and offered a fair sized catalogue to a good attendance of bn.v ers. There was keen competition though prices were from a par to a shade cosier.
