Alexandraj with a somewhat weak team, journeyed to Wanaka on Saturday and .suffered defeat at the hands of the home team by 25 point* to nil.
Cromwell and Clyde met on the hitter's ground and a keenly contested game resulted, with little between the teams. If anything, Clyde had a little J the best of the forward work. Cromwell won, by eight points to five. Cromwell's score consisted of a converted try, scored by Nicholson, and a penalty by Chalmers, while MeArth.jr scored for Clyde. On Saturday next, Matakanui and Cromwell meet at Cromwell, and in view of Cromwell's last two performances, the game should create a good deal of interest. Moa Creek and Low burn B meet the same day.
