Lodge Meeting
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Cromwell Lodge. M.1'.1.0.0.F., was held in the Oddfellows Hall. at tTie usual hour of meeting, namely. S p.m., when there was a good attendance of brethren. The Lodge was duly opened, the N.G. Bro. C. Bowie.' presiding. The 1 oast of the evening- was dulv honored. The officers roll and the minutes of the previous meeting were read and the minutes were confirmed. The correspondence was read and received and sick pay and accounts passed for payment. The second, third, and fourth toasts were then honoured. The lodge adjourned for harmony. On resumption of business it was decided to send a letter of congratulation to P.P.G.M. Bro. R. S. Black on being elected Mavor of the City. The Lodge extended its congratulations to Per. Sec. Bro. W Campbell on being again elected to the Borough Council. A distinguished visitor to the Lodge was P.P G M Bro. Geoff Clarke, of the Loval Hand and Heart Lodge, to whom was extended the usual cordial welcome. P.P.G.M. Bio. Harke replied as befitted the occasion p n ,l afterwards gave an interesting address. The Lodges exchanged greetings and the meeting duly closed.
