At the produce auctions in Dunedin btioro. taster plums were too cheap to please orchartlists, but siuce the resumption ot the sales after the holidays the prices are, appreciably firmer (states our Dunedin evening- contemporary). On Tuesday plums in the crate sold up to 5Jd per in, nectarines Od and GJd. Tno supply of those iruits will last a iittle longer. Following- them will come the late peaches as the oi ••the stones," and then our main supplies from the Central will be of apples and pears. Vegetables ot most kinds are plentiful, except good cauliflowers. Peas' weiu soiling this week at 2d per lb wholesale, and an abundance offering, but every day they are now; becoming scarcer. Tomatoes continue to rule at low prices, great crops coming to mind from all quarters.
