On Monday last, Anniversary Day, a runs tournament, was piuycu on tne Cromwell green, in wluen members of tne Cromwell and \bannockburn clubs competed, ’ine purpose ol tiie tournament was to determine tlie champion pair of (.no two clubs, who later m the week were to compete m the Centres Pairs Championship at Clyde. Showers affected the green in the afternoon, hut play was never Aitorrupted lor any period. The winners were Smith and Er. Jolly, Cromwell, who defeated Parsons and Campbell, Bannockburn, in che final. Scores wore as follows; First Round. J. ParccJl and J. Grant 16, 11. Billon and VV. Jolley 12. J. Smith and Er.
