Stronach Morris and Co. report: Fat Cattle—There was a small yarding-, 201 being- forward, the quality on the whole being good At the commencement of the sale prices were firm at late 1 tiling- rates, but towards the end they were slightly easier. Extra prime bullocks ,£l7 ids to ,£2O 12s 6d; prime .£ls 10 ,£l6 10s, medium £l4 to ,£ls 10s, light from £l2 10s upwards. Extra prime heifers .to .£l4, prime ,£9 10s to ,£l3. light from £8 upwards. Fat Sheep—There was a small yarding, 1230 being forwnrd, consisting of fair to good quality with a good proportion of shorn sheep. Competition was very keen, and prices were firmer by fully 1 s per head on late ruling rates. Extra prime woolly wethers 53s to 58s 3d, prime 44s Cd to 525, medium 37s 10 435, light from 33s upwards, extra prime woolly, ewes 44s to 40s 6d, prime 36s to 425, light 30s to 355. extra prime shorn wethers 37s to 42s r>d, pinne 32s to 36s 3d, prime shorn ewes 27s to 31s 3d.

Fa'i Lambs —There was a .small entry, 132 being forward, the quality on the whole being fair. Prices for prime lambs were firmer by frem is 6(1 to 2s per head on last sale's rates. Pigs—There was a good entry of both fat and store pig's, and prices all round were easier.

Oats—Practically ho samples are coming to hand, and the business in this cereal is very quiet. 'A' Grade Gartons may be nominally quoted at up to 2s yd on trucks, country sidingls. Wheat—There is no milling wheal offering-, and fowl wheat meets wfilh fail demand at up to 6s yd ex .store Dunedin.

Potatoes—Very few consignments of old season's potatoes are coming; to hand, and there is a g-ood demand for prime freshly-picked lines which are bringing 1 up to ,£lO per ton, ex store, Duncdin. Chaff—Consignments have been coming- to hand more freely of late, arid the demand is confined to bright oaten sheaf which is bringing up to £5 ex truck, Duncdin. Medium quality, however, is not sought after.
