Ltd., report for week ended Monday, November 17th, as follows : Oats : —During the past week there has been good enquiry For all grades and the market has shown a firming tendency. Offerings from :the country have been very light, all offering meeting ready sale at quotations. Store stocks have been largely drawn on and the quantity remaining unsold is small. We quote : Prime milling 4s 7d, good to best feed -is Id to 4s od, medium to good 4s 2d to 4s 4d per bushel, (sacks extra.) Wheat :—Very little of any descrip* tion has been offering of late. Millers are taking all suitable lines at maximum rates. Fowl wheat is in very short supply and readily quitted at Gs Od per bushel, (sacks exta.) Potatoes : —Supplies continue to arrive freely from the North. The demand is very slack and consignments as a consequence hate been accumulating. Choice freshly picked lots are the only description saleable. Medium and faulty lines are neglected. We quote : Best freshly picked tables to £9, good to £8 10s per tou, (sacks in.) Chaff : —Fair supplies have been com* ing forward during the past week. All lines of good, bright, oaten sheaf have been cleared at quotations. The demand for medium and poor quality is not so strong. We quote : —Best eaten sheaf £7 10s, medium to good £b" 15s to £7 os, light and inferior from £5 per ton, (sacks extra).
