Young Helper's League.
A meeting of the Young Helper's League was held at the public school on Friday afternoon, Mrs \V. D. Jolly, the president, being in the chair. The headmaster briefly explaine.l the objects of the League and then cdied upon Mrs Jolly to addic s the me-u----bcrs. Mrs dolly, in a very hap;y speech, congratula'ed the children on their ell'orts to help the poor children of London, who were being looked ;l fl ol . j., the I).' Birnardo's Homes. Siox.'.s were then opened and it was found thai over .Co had been collected, Kalph dolly being the one who had collected the most. Mis dolly suggested a picnic for next box-openiup da}-, and this suggestion was eagerly adopted. Mrs \Y. I>. Jolly was elected president for the incoming year and Miss Myrtle Dun gey secretary.
