Asserting that the institution of marriage in America is endangered by the divorce evil, Chief .Justice Hoffw man, of the Domestic Relations Court, Cincinnati, suggested the establishment of " Family Courts " in an address before the American Institute of Criminal Law recently. " There will," he said, " be more than 400,000 divorce cases filed before the courts of this country this year, Something must be done to save our family life, the greatest civilising force that we bave. The only way is the establishment of courts in which social evi* dence, as distinguished from legal evii dence, will be considered."
