A MEDIUMS’ UNION. Ihe arisen Air W. T. Stead will not direct and control the work of the Mediums’ Union, which was inaugurated recently under the. name of the International Home Circle Federation, at the Food Reform Restaurant. “As a matter of fact,’’ writes Air John 11. Dixon, the organiser of the federation, “the arisen Mr Stead will have nothing to do with the direction of affairs here. Tlie organisation will be conducted on common-sense lines and in a business-like way.’’
“Education institutes,” he proceeds, “will be established for training sensitives in psychic lore, and the forces ot Spiritualism will be co-ordinated for the purpose oi conducting propaganda energetically and successfully; and the necessary steps will be. , taken to make it impossible for charlatans and lortunc-tellers to masquerade as Spiritualistic mediums. Air W. 1. Stead, who had this work so much at heart while lie was hero in the Mesh, will, undoubtedly, do all that he can to influence and help the organisation lioin the other side: hut as for meddlin'' uith the mundane side of the work here, J am sure nothing can he further from the thoughts of Air Stead or the thonghts of tho majority of my confreres.”
