When the police found his body in a bed there, he had been dead for i early three weeks. In the room were £470 in * Treasury notes, gold and silver articles, documents of ail kinds, valuable surgical instruments. title deeds of property in Scotland, and an unsigned will showing that he had relatives in New Zealand. A verdict of death from natural causes was recorded.
