REALLY CONTENT.
+ 1 have no desire fur riches, Mere'money is nothing to me. From all the annoyance of millions I’m glad to be perfectly free. Of course I'm in debt just a trifle; I can’t say ”i don't owe a cent.” But wore these few debts of mine settled I'm sure I’d be really content. A hundred or so would be. ample To pay every penny of debt. If I only had that I am certain I’d 1)0 in my glory, and yet— I wouldn’t mind one or two thousand. You see, I am still paying rent. And if I could be my own landlord I’m sure I’d be really content. It’s nice to be quite independent And not have to work like a slave; My tastes are the tastes of refln--ment ; It isn’t my nature to save. If I had a cool twenty thousand Just drawing, say, seven per real., Or, possibly, six and three-quarters, I’m sure I’d be really content. I hate this base struggling for millions, This longing for riches galore ; If I had a million, believe me, I wouldn’t be wishing for more. I wouldn’t be hoarding it, either, I’d see it was properly spent. If I could be free with my money I’m sure I’d be really content.
