Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report for week ending 19th February as follows : Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd, report having held their usual weekly auction sale of grain and produce at their stores on Monday 19th, when they offered a medium catalogue to a full attendance of buyers. Prices were as under:— Oats;— There is a good demand for new oats for immediate delivery. Stocks of old oats are now in very small compass. We quote : —Prime milling 2s 4d to 2s lid, good to best feed 2s 3d to 2s id, inferior to medium 2s to 2s 2id (bags extra.) Wheat : —There is nothing doing in this cereal. Practically no oilers from the country and (he stocks in store are now practically exhausted. Prime Velvet 3s Did to 3s Lid, best Velvet ear and Tuscan 3s 9d to 3s If Id, best whole fowl feed 3s Sd to 3s 9d, medium 3s (id to 3s Sd, broken and inferior 3s to 3s aid per bushel (bags extra). Chaff ; —During the last two or three days supplies from the country have eased and the market if anything is slightly tinner. Medium quality chaff however is still without enquiry and is very diliicult to sell. Best oaten chaff t3 7s (id to £3 10s. good £3 to £*3 os. medium £2 7s (id to £2 17s 6d, inferior to £2.
