NOT AT HOME
A young man who had been on a holiday to Scotland was very fond of telling yarns about the places he had been to and the people he bad seen. One day amongst his audience was an old Scot, who bad hitherto made no remark, but who now came forward with a question : “Mon,:’ said he, “did ye see Ben Lomond when you were in Scotland?” The romancer thougnt for a moment, and then replied : “No, I didn’t. I called but he wasn’t at home.”
