Messrs Dalgely and Co.. Ltd., report tor week ending 22nd January as follows : We held our usual weekly auctiou sale of grain and produee at our stores on Monday the 22nd iust. to a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was slack, especially for oats and chaff. Oats:—The nurket continues very depressed, and owing to the absence of any shipping demand and heavier supplies, prices have dropped considerably. Even at reduced prices, there is uo demai.d. Prime milling 2s Sd to 2s I'd, good fcj best feci 2s od to 2s 7d, inferior 2s to 2s 3d per bushel (bags extra.) Wheat :—There is nothing fresh lu report. The market has a healthier tone but owing to the lisdit offerings from the country, anrt the millers not operating, business is restricted. Prime Velvet to 3s 1 Id, prime Velvet ear aud Tuscan ."is 9d (o 3s KM, medium milling and best whole fowl feed :!s Sd to 3s Od, inferior to medium 3s 3d to 3s 7d per bushel (bag* extra.)

Chaff:—The market today is easier, and as supplies are heavier, lower values have to be taken to mike sales. Best chaff to tl, medium to good £3 to C 3 17s (id, inferior t'2 LOs to £8 per ton (bags extra.)
