CROMWELL MUTUAL IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION.
The usual meeting of the above was held in the Bible Christian Church on Monday 12th inst. Sickness and other causes somewhat interfered with a full attendance of the members. After the minutes of the previous meeting had been read and confirmed the Rev. F. T. Read gave an interesting lecture on “ Geology and the Bible,” illustrated by charts, fossils, and stones. The lecture was much enjoyed by those present, and at the close a hearty vote ■of thanks was tendered to Mr Bead. The meeting closed with the Benediction
