FIRE AT CARDRONA.

[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. Knowles' Hotel, ab Cardrona, was com' pletely destroyed by fire last Friday evening. The only thing saved was the piano; the row of bedrooms at the back and the stables escaped. The fire originated in the billiard room, and is supposed to have, been caused, by some flaw in the stove pipe where it passes through the wall. The place was, I believe, insured, but not sufficiently to cover the loss. Much sympathy is felt for the family as they lost everything but what they stood in. The hotel, too, will be missed, being always noted for its being well kept, and providing excellent accommodation for all who put up at it.
