Since purchasing and entering into posses* aion of above Hotel, the Proprietor has effected such improvements in the accommodation and otherwise as to render it one of the best-appointed Hotels out of Dunedin. Mr Mountney has entered into possession of the Commodious Stone Building (opposite the Hotel) recently occupied by Messrs ilallenstein and Co., and has converted the same into suites of apartments in every way suitable to the travelling public, having the advantage of being Strictly Private, and well adapted for Families and those to whom home quietness is a consideration. Civility and attention to the wants of customers will be a speciality, and generally it is his intention to maintain the excellent name which this old established Hotel has had in the past for the comfort and convenience of all who patronise it.
