The examination of the prisoners in custody for the Simpson's Road bank robbery concluded at Melbourne on Sfch instant, when tbe whole of them were remanded, bail being refused. The police have been taking active steps to prevent the disposal of the plunder by any confederates. Four of the prisoners have been identified by witnesses as the same Avho were seen at the Bank to drive off in a cart, and subsequently enter Studley Park. A search in the Park resulted in the recovery of £4OO in National Bank notes, and a bag of silver buried in the ground.
