The above Mine has been purchased from M'Nulty Bros, by Mr Robert Johnson. Coal will be supplied as hitherto by Mr Edward M'Nulty, to whom all moneys for same will be payable. The coal now being worked in the Excelsior Mine is of very excellent quality, and the Proprietor hopes to receive an extension of the liberal support hitherto enjoyed by his predecessors. I, William Bell, of Tarras District, Farmer, being the holder of an Agricultural Lease for sections 43, 44, 49 and 50, Block 1., Tarras District, containing 197 acres 3 roods and 28 poles, which expires on the 12th day of April, 1885, and not having purchased the said land, but having duly fulfilled all conditions of such lease, hereby give notice that at the expiration of 14 days from the publication hereof I shall, pursuant to Section 49 of “ The Mines Act 1877,” make application to the Warden at his office at Cromwell for a new lease of the same sections for a further term of ten years at the same rental as heretofore.
