The Classes in the faculties of Arts and Medicine, and in the Schools of Mining and Law> will open on Ist May. The preliminary Medical examination will be held on the Ist and 2nd May. Candidates are required to give notice to the Registrar on or before the 14th April of the subjects in which they desire to be examined, and pay the prescribed fee—one guinea. The School of Mines is amply provided with Collections, Specimens, Models, Apparatus, etc. The course of instruction is designed for the following professions—viz., Mining Engineer, Metallurgical and Geologic Surveyor, Mining and Land Surveyor, Metallurgical Chemist and Assayer.
