THE VOLUNTEER REVIEW.
Should the weather prove favorable, everything else promises fair for a successful and well-attended at Queenstown during the Easter season. A good deal of enthusiasm is being evinced by the Volunteers-throughout this District, and so also in Southland is a similar spirit manifested. The local Committee of Management are well forward with their work, and will have all things in thorough order by Thursday evening, when the ' troops will begin to arrive in Queenstown. An attractive bill of fare tor the four days' enc.uupmen 1 -, is set forth iii the published programme, which, has invited very favorable comments fom all quarters. Besides the Voluntec-s and Binds (of which latter there will be three if not four, including the famous luvercargill one) taking part part in the proceedings, there is sure to be a l.ryc influx, of visitors to the City of the Lakes, the^accommodation, and commissariat of which will be sorely tested from Good Friday to the c ose of faster Monday.
