MARTIN, MAITLAND and 00. have received instructions from Messrs M'Kellar and Clapcott (who are dissolving partnership) to sell by auction, at their Rooms, Dee-street, Invercargill, on the above date— THAT VALUABLE CATTLE STATION KNOWN" AS THE HAAST, CLARKE, & LANDSBKOTJGH EM, Situated on the Haast River, in the Province of Westland, containing about 30,000 ACRES LEASEHOLD, Subject to an annual rental of £d. per acre, free of assessment, and with the option of exercising a pre-emptive right over 1500 acres at 20s an acre. The Run will be sold with about 270 Head of Superior Mixed CATTLE 4 WORKING BULLOCKS 2 Station HORSES. The above is admirably adapted for a Cattle Breeding Station, and commands the market for fat stock at Jackson's Bay Settlement, which is rapidly increasing. This is to give notice that I, the abovenamed James Corbett, have this day filed with the Clerk of the District Court of the Otago Gold fields, at Cromwell, a Stat3ment, under the provisions of the abovementioned Ace, that I am unable to pay my debts, and that I desire to have my affairs liquidated under the said Act. And I hereby summon a first Meeting of my Creditors, to be held at the Court-house, Queenstown, on Friday, the 18th day of August, 1876, to consider the propriety of having my affairs liquidated under the said Act. Until the appointment of a Trustee, all persons having in their possession any of my effects must deliver them, and all debts due to me must be paid, to the said Clerk of the District Court of the Otago Goldfields, at Cromwell aforesaid. Before the appointment of a Trustee, Creditors, to enable them to vote at a meeting, must forward their proofs of debt to the said Clerk ; after the appointment of a Trustee, the proofs of debt must be forwarded to him.
