At the Auckland Police Court on Monday, H. W. Bond charged T. \V. Bush, maimer for Madame Cora, with assaulting him in the Prince of Wales Theatre, hy taking him hy the coat and throwing him down stairs. It appears complainant was smoking during the performance, and was thrust out of the entertainment in consequence. Defendant proved that he re-mons-r.ited with him without effect, and notices respecting smoking were posted up in the hall. The bench dismissed the case.
