COMMERCIAL. Archjs Office, Tuesday afternoon. Business during the week has been dull, owing no doubt to the inclemency of the weather. Cartage has slighgtly advanced in consequence of the late rains. Mr W. J. Barry held a sale of a consignment of drapery goods at Powell's Hotel, Queenstown, in the early part of last week. The goods offered realised satisfactory prices, and the total proceeds amounted to £435. Mr Barry also cleared, at the same time and place, a quantity of miscellaneous goods at fair rates.
