TOTALISATOR PERMITS.
TO THE EDITOB. Sir,—l observe that Mr Malcolm is very much opposed to totalisator permits. Should the present political upheaval result in Mr Malcolm being given a portfolio—gay that of .Minister of internal Affairs, and therefore in charge of totalisator permits—would he plead "conscientious objections'' and re fust' to carry out Cabinet's command, or say to Mr Alassev, "Here ;s my resignation' —1 am, etc., CUKIOUS.
