<»» "A troopship that arrived at Auckland on. Thursday had the following district men aboard: Alexander Riddle, factory, hand (Mr Henry Riddle, Ba.l- - James Joseph Randall, tailor (Mrs V. Baudall, MiltOD); Charles Turner Yeight. engineer (Mr J. O. Voight, Pukerau); Vernon Waite, labourer (Mrs W. R. "\Vaite, Tapanui); Hugh Craig, blacksmith (Mary Craig, Waitahuna). The late Mr John Henderson, whose death occurred, at his home, Marybank, Inchclutha, on Friday, was born in Ross-shire, Scotland, JM years ago. He emigrated to?vew Zealaud in 1874 with the 'Mnvereargill" on her first voyage. He worked at Inebelutba practically all his life, and was of a quiet and retiring disposition. A widow and four members of his family surviv* him, these being Mrs John Bell, Mrs Jack McKissock and Miss Henderson (larjhhietha), and Mr James Hendwwa , (Orescent), '..'..
